Hi! My name’s Kate and I’ve been working here with Drass since 2009. I work in the Manuals department, working alongside the engineers in the creation and editing of the technical documentation. Being the only native English speaker in the company I am often asked to help proof-read documents, letters, brochures or to do translations. Seeing as the majority of the company’s documentation is done in English, it’s quite a task -there just aren’t enough hours in the day for me to check everything, but I’m working on it!
In addition, every day I create a quick English lesson and attach it to the door of my office for all the Drass staff to see…who knows if I’m doing it to help them…or to make my job easier!! ; )
P.S. Yes, I do use a pilates ball as a chair! Although it’s common practice in the UK, these Italians think I’m very strange, but I’m making an attempt to improve my posture!
