Hyperbaric Entertainment System is intended to bring multimedia technology inside the hyperbaric chamber. The most common TV set Speaker or computer are designed to work at sea level pressure. If we use this equipments inside an hyperbaric chamber they will break after a short time. Drass found a way to modify touchscreen monitors for standing high pressure. This allow to put a touchscreen monitor inside the hyperbaric chamber connected to an external PC. The diver inside have the possibility to surf internet, communicate with the family, see movies, listen to music, write e-mail and all the activity you can do with a computer. Of course the ship must be equipped with an internet link. This gives more comfort to the divers to stay for long time inside the chamber. There are two kind of hyperbaric monitors, wide screen 42” or small screen 12”. The large screen is mounted upon the manhole and is visible from everybody inside the chamber. The audio is diffused by an hyperbaric speaker that is applied to the outer surface of the chamber and transmit sound inside through the wall. The small one is fixed upon the bunk in front of the face of the diver. This monitor is also equipped with an headphone. Future is arriving and will be safe technology!
