Test Simulator
DRASS acquired an under pressure tank to perform simulations up to a pressure of 65 bar that corresponds approximately to a depth of 650 msw.
The simulator has a vertical cylindrical shape and the inside dimensions are: height greater than 2000 mm, 1500 mm internal diameter.
The top is a lid with lifting bolted lugs which attaches to the cylindrical body allowing the insertion of objects of great dimensions, using the maximum inner diameter of the simulator.
In addition to the bolted cover the simulator is equipped with a cylindrical area:
- 3 bolted blind flange openings with a diameter of 300 mm
- 2 fixed doors autoclave open type with a diameter of 620 mm
- 1 porthole diameter 50 mm
These features make it versatile and suitable for the simulator to perform numerous tests on objects of varied size and shape.
The tank is certified according to PED 97/23 CE
