2012/03/01 iLife
iLife is one of the modules of Drass Automation for its Saturation Diving Systems.
The Environmental control of the gas mix provided to the DDCs is usually performed via specialized machines called ECUs (Environmental control Units). The main operating and safety variables managed by the ECUs are: CO2 level, humidity and temperature of the mix.
Previously, parameter control and modification was carried out on the ECUs directly. In the Saturation Control Room it was only possible to monitor the ECU’s environmental variables controlled.
iLife represents the new generation of Drass Environmental Control System, fully automated and remotely controlled. The system is based on a re-engineered ECU fitted with: a failsafe CPU to locally monitor and control the machine; a local HMI (Human Machine Interface) to locally change the settings of the machine; and a remote HMI to do the same operations directly from the Sat Control Room.
